Mine is in the post now coming from Taiwan. I look forward to it's arrival. Some have called it a little feminine but I disagree. I think it will be a unique addition to the flock.

PELIKAN - Too many birds in the flock to count. My pen chest has proven to be a most fertile breeding ground.

I think it is stunningly understated. I guess I'm the first person who doesn't own one to post :P I hope you three enjoy it!

I am waiting for mine too. Should arrive this week.

Are you sure?

I just called Pelikan and they confirmed that the pens will be available at the beginning of March, all over the world.

Could you be so kind to post a picture when you'll receive it?

Tracking shows that my pen is in customs in New York so I'm pretty sure or else I'm gonna get an awful suprise. I purchased from tylee.tw

Mine has just arrived, perfect

How would you describe the 'cream' color in person?

Great. I was worried it might be too white.

I tried purchasing one from tylee.tw. Sent them an email asking how to purchase. Received an email right back, asking for my address. Sent my address three days ago and haven't heard back from them.

Those of you who've completed an order, how long did it take to complete the process?

Thanks,
Kent

All shipping item will be after that holiday ending."

I got my order in and shipped just in time.

Well, perhaps they went on holiday a few days earlier..... Probably a good thing. By the time they return, I'll have forgotten the whole thing. :)

Hi everyone,

This pen looks very nice. I must have missed the size of the pen. Is it a 600, 400, or maybe 200??

Ordered mine from Germany, ordered on Monday and delivered late Wednesday afternoon, which I thought was remarkable.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
