Overall, I totally love this ink. As soon as WRE is allowing combined shipping again (after the holidays), I'm definitely picking up another bottle.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review too! I initially wrote this ink off when you first posted a writing sample, because I thought it was close enough to Kobe# 14 that I didn't need a bottle. But of course after seeing a full page of it and reading that it's like BB 4B, I will definitely be emailing Atsu about this one :doh: Does it have the same flow and glide on the page as 4B?

 

PS I feel like Sarah Jessica Parker in the Covet fragrance commercial that she did a couple of years ago... :P

How close would you say this is to Hakodate Twighlight Blue?

It's pretty average in terms of flow, but so is 4B, so I'd say you're good.

 

this isn't like Haokdate Twilight at all (I don't think). It's much darker. I'd say it's closer to Diamine Tchaikovsky. I love Hakodate Twilight, but it's definitely a lighter blue.

Dang nab it! Why must you taunt me with these alluring blues! I don't even like blue ink that much. And yet, I seem to acquire more and more of them. I have a sickness...

Your report of nib dry is the only thing saving me...

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
