Just for a bit of weirdness --I've had an old bottle of Montblanc Burgundy ink in my desk drawer for years, and in that time, I have added other inks to it --for some unknown reason. Now it looks really unusual. So I gave it an unusual, but beautiful name in Danish. And now that I look at it closely, it has a "dried blood" feel to it...

And now for the Francesco Rubinato fruit scented "Rosso." Rather light and less saturated than other inks. A nice, less intense bright red.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
