Levenger L-Tech For Cheap

I've been buying from Sierra Trading Post since the late 80's? early 90's? They are awesome and inexpensive, selling closeouts, overstocks, and some minor seconds, although they tell you when things are seconds. And once you get on their mailing list you get a lot cheaper prices in their sales (although those are twice a day and that's how many emails you'll get from them). Their customer service has been excellent every time I've needed it.

I just noticed Levenger products on there for the first time. So - there's 2 pens up, an L-Tech Plus for $60 (versus $89 regular) and a Facets ballpoint for $55 (versus $79), along with some other things.

I will warn you that they have an unbelievable quantity of stuff and you will probably be significantly poorer after going there. Best to make a small order then wait for the sale emails. And there's a referral program so if you want me to refer you, you can get $10 off your first order. Yes, in full disclosure, I'd get $10 credit too. But that's not why I'm posting this, just letting you all know about the Levenger pens, and hopefully more in the future if the 2 companies work together well. There is no referral on that link, you'll have to contact me if you want to use it.

I'm not affliated with them except as a customer.

Another Sierra Trading fan here.

Right now, if your order totals over $100, you can get an additional 30% off--the keycode for the discount (SITEHIT1114 ) is at top of the home page.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
