Hello everyone, I have to admit I am extremely new to the world of fantastic pens and I haven't the foggiest idea about them. I was in Athens, Greece over the weekend and stubbled into a beautiful looking pen. I managed to buy it for 10 euros. Any information would be great! Also would it be really expensive if i needed parts? I can see that the spring is somewhat bent and the ink could use some replacing.

Haha I dont plan to resell! I just wish I would have done more research before an impulse buy! I have been reading up on how to spot fakes so next time I will be more prepared!

Maybe it is the photo angle, but the "snow flake" looks like a "white flower".

 

For me, it is a fake but unique!

I think I've seen that counterfeit before. Luckily it didn't wind up with someone else paying a lot more and thinking it's real!

I keep thinking about selling some of my pens but all that happens is I keep acquiring more!

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..
