I have no affiliation with Engeika but personally find that it's a ripoff to buy something in the US (like a Pilot Prera) for $50 from US dealers when it's available across the sea for $30. Even better, it sells Iroshizuku ink for $13.50 PER BOTTLE! Anyways, until November 17, the site is offering free shipping on orders of or over $99, which is a pretty good deal considering shipping is usually $13, and most fountain pens he offers are at that price range.

Glad to see a few get some good deals :)! I bought from him once, but usually it's free shipping for $199+ orders. So I got a Pilot Custom 912 with PO nib and got it in a week. I was hoping there was something for me on this special, but I didn't find anything. Hopefully everyone enjoys their orders; I've never had any problems with him.

 

And their ink prices alone just floor me, quite literally 2 Iroshizuku bottles for the price of one!

I picked one Platinum and one Sailor (a deviation from my "diet" of Pilot pens). Then I had a look at my bank account details and closed Firefox without placing the order. :(

Thanks for the heads up. I went ahead and ordered some Sailor and Iroshizuku inks. I previously held out because I didn't want to order $200 worth of ink. $99 was much more manageable.

 

Iroshizuku Take-Sumi, Kon-Peki, and Asa-Gao are duplicate bottles, but I love these colors so it made sense to pick up more. Picked up Ama-Iro as a new color.

Sailor I went with Azure Sky, Nioi-sumire, Shiguri, and Tokiwa-Matsu.

 

Obviously I have a mild obsession with blue inks, but that's not unusual. :D

Wow what an amazing price on those inks, I was just about to buy them on amazon for $24 a pop and he has them for practically half that. Amazing!

I was talking to an owner at a B&M store in the US and she said the price I paid for the Iroshizuku inks we're below her cost!

I placed an order last Thurday and my inks arrived today! Incredibly fast shipping and the packaging was very good. The inks were bubble wrapped, and the box was filled with paper for additional padding. I'd ordered second bottles of Iroshizku Take-Sumi, Kon-Peki, and Asa-Gao. The rest were new colors. Iroshizuku Ama-Iro, Sailor Azure Sky, Nioi-Sumire, Shigure, and Tokiwa-matsu.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..
