WOW very nice.

I call it bug green and it is the only one I have a bottle of - it is my favorite ink.

It's my current favorite ink too! I switched colors over the weekend and I started to miss it so I emptied my pen after less than a day of the other ink and came back for more haha

I have to put some of these on my shopping list. I like all of these Sailor specialty inks.

Emperor Butterfly caught my eye but then I'm hooked on blurple at the moment.

 

The butterfly is purple and Lidths Jay is more of a blurple, both are beautiful.

I'm very tempted by Lidth's Jay. I have the Butterfly but I find it a bit too non-committal on the purpley side (if that makes any sense). It's nice, but I'm not dying about it.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
