Single Slip Pen Pouch (Leather)

Hi FPN :-)

I'm looking for a couple of pen pouches for my pens.

gouletpens.com has some Aston pouches but since I live in Denmark it will be an expensive affair.

The Aston pouches look like this:

Do you guys have any suggestions to where to buy similar pouches in Europe ?

Thanks in advance

The Pen Shop in UK have a Kingsley pouch they call standard. I have one and can fit two pens in at a time e.g. Faber Castell Loom + Waterman Perspective (a little tight)or Parker Sonnet and Lamy Studio. Singly, Lamy Safari doesn't look lonely and would take a fatter pen. £10 plus £8.50 P&P to Europe - free over £10 domestic - so could be argued P&P not worth product but I love it. Very soft, tactile, flexible. Have been known to sit and wind/unwind the case around my finger. I'm just that kind of a girl!!

10 £ is too much :-)

I bought an Aston sleeve from Goulet's. Yes, the shipping cost is not good for a single slip that could be sent in an envelope, but they are great guys that help out the community, so I didn't feel bad for spending $22 in a simple sleeve. It is a great sleeve though, fits my Custom 74 perfectly, I wouldn't trade it for a pen case. For a single pen it is the best thing. I don't like sleeves at require you to clip the pen, the top usually stays unprotected.

Sula Jane & Earl offer all their products on sale until the end of the year as they intend to change their inventory in 2015.

I grabbed a few shorties for my pocket pens but haven't received them yet.

If I am happy with them, I will probably wait for their new designs and then get some more for the rest of my collection.

I like the color options they offer. Bright and cheery for those who prefer them or more conservative and undertone for those who want sth more serious.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
