Stratford Penrestoration

Just found a "Stratford" pen & pencil set - it is the first set I have that has a plunger at the end of the pen instead of a lever fill. I have about forty sets, so am now pretty adept at taking them apart and replacing sacs, etc. I can't figure out how this thing comes apart - and how it works to fill the sac, so I am stuck and looking for some information from someone who knows these things. Is it simply a heat and work apart, like a lever fill? Any help would certainly be appreciated - it is a nice looking set and would make a nice addition to my working group of pen & pencil sets

Have never seen a Stratford that was not a lever. Check Richard Binder for something on the Stratford plunger

Stratford pens were made by Salz pens or rather the Salz Pen Company became the Stratford Pen Company. You might search for other Salz button filler pens and find something about repairing them.
