Where Can I Buy A Ductus Nib?

Hello all,

 

I was having problems with the nib of my Pelikan Ductus, loss of flow, which I think it was caused by excessive distance between nib and feed. I tried to disassemble and manage to create a crack in the retaining collar.

 

In short, I need to buy a nib unit for the pen, in silver finish,

 

Can you suggest any place in Europe with stock and a good price? Thank you.

 

(PS: I will start a WTB in the clasifieds section if this route does not work)

Send it to Pelikan in Hanover, for repair....they repair their pens....for the cost of the mailing I believe.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

 

 

The cheapest lessons are from those who learned expensive lessons. Ignorance is best for learning expensive lessons.

Do you think so? I haven't kept the box and papers, I bought it some years ago. But yes, it is a good hint. I will contact Pelikan by email to ask. Thank you.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..
