Kaweco Sport 14K Gold Nib Shown On Website!

I was looking at the Kaweco site and I noticed under Accessories-> Parts there is listed two 14k gold nibs for the Sport and other models that use the same sized nib. One is plain gold and comes in EF-BB, while the other is two-tone and only comes in medium. Has anyone else heard about this?

It can be found here.

Thanks!

I have been wondering about those as well, they've been on their website for a while but I can't find any shops that have them, I'd love to have one of those 14k nibs.

It appears they fit all models. They have two different sizes: one to fit the upper-end Sports (Not sure about the classic sport though. It appears they sell the nibs for those with section attached. I don't have a classic so I couldn't tell you for sure) as well as all the other pens that use the same nib, and one size for the Elite.

Pffft. Seems to me Kaweco are getting a big head and starting to jack their prices up. That really disappoints me, as they're my favourite brand. €120 for a Nº5 gold nib? Come on.

And what is with the price of that blowtorched Liliput? I thought that was a joke.

I agree. My Liliput has been great, but there's no way I would spend that much for the Fireblue.

Have you asked about a price for a Bock 14K nib. These will be identical to the Kaweco nibs and should fit. For those who just want the nib and aren't fussy about the Kaweco branding.

Do look at vintage Kaweco nibs, in the Sport. The whole pen.

I'm trans-mailing one and it's semi-flex also.

In I can't collect everything, I don't collect Kaweco, but that gold semi-flex nib is ever so nice.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
