Pendora Is Shutting Down Sales: Clearing Out Now

Good morning friends,

I wanted to let you all know that Pendora will be changing business models in 2015 and in order to prepare for the changes next year we are shutting down our retail sales as of the end of the month. As of now, I have dropped a lot of the prices on our site and added a 25% discount for all orders over $50. More drops will occur, more items will be moved to the clearance tab and several items will then be auctioned on ebay.

Shop our site and FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME WITH OFFERS, should you see something you cant live without, or wish to purchase in bulk. Don't wait for prices to drop more as I have already sold out of over 35 products and will not be ordering anymore.

We will continue to sell our Pen trays as these are quite popular with our friends here. For now, we are focused on moving out everything we can so we can start on manufacturing all of our pen and ink related products under our own trademark name.

Thanks. Michelle

Sorry to hear it's a GOoB sale, but best of luck not only with it, but with the new business model. :)

I ordered a few things from Michelle on Monday and got them yesterday. She shipped them the same day I ordered them. One of the items (the desk magnifier) had a crack in the wood so I contacted her. She is very easy to work with and is sending out a replacement for it.

Something she suggested was using some of the things that are on sale as stocking stuffers and offered that if multiples were bought that she would reduce the prices further. So if you're beginning to think along the lines of the holidays, you might save some money that way.

Thanks all. I should clarify. I'm not going out of business, I'm just changing my business model. I registered the Pendora trademark in 2013 and will be manufacturing my own products. So, Im clearing out all the retail items that aren't Pendora Products.

I will be manufacturing my own display cases and accessories, eventually adding an ink line, and maybe someday a Pendora Fountain pen line. You haven't heard the last of me......

Oh, and thanks for the plug Linda. Sorry about the crack in the magnifier. Those things don't typically slip by me. I hope you got the replacement ok.

I wish you the best of luck in your new endeavor. I look forward to seeing your new line of products under you own brand. All the very best in the future!

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
