Need Replacement Feed For Large Stipula Nib

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know where I might get a feed for the larger Stipula nib? This same feed is used by multiple pen makers: Bexley, Delta, and several others. It is hard plastic.

I'd like to get a few of them.

Thanks.

Fantastic, efchem. Thanks.

I assume I would need the #6 feed/housing. It's for a Stipula Etruria. Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks again.

Yes, the #6. You can get these at many pen supply sites but IPD are close to me and inexpensive shipping. I just pulled the feed out and put it into my Etruria. Worked fine. I needed it when i tried to unscrew the nib unit from the pen and applied too much force and snapped the feed. Luckily that was the only damage and an easy fix.

Hi I am in almost exactly the same fix - broke my Stipula Bon Voyage feed when trying to unscrew it from pen. Is the Bon Voyage feed unit the same as the Etruria? I have broken the feed and also the black housing it sits in. Can you help with any info?

So many pens, so little time.

I don't have a bon voyage but I believe they use the smaller sized nib. I would guess they are a #5 bock but I do not know for certain since I do not have any smaller nibbed stipula pens.

Thanks for your help. I'll have a look at the #5 to check its dimensions.

I have purchased feeds here:

http://penkits.biz/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=17

These are the "standard" feeds. They fit the "standard" German nibs, usually the kind that are in cartridge/converter pens. They MAY fit others - you need to try.

They are cheap enough that you can have a dozen in your parts box, and try to see if they fit. No big loss if they aren't right.

These are double cut feeds - they have two ink channels. In some cases, this improves the flow over what came with the pen.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
