So I taught a class today on how to provide security for medical cannibas and in a fleeting moment I noticed my pen was writing in the same colors that were on the screen.

 

There was a line at the end of the class, wanting to try the "fountain pen ink made from cannibis" :)

 

Well, that got a better laugh than the Cheech 'n Chong Dave not here :D

I never noticed Ina-ho before. Looks gorgeous!

 

They are both and i love my "brothers" so much that I have extra Chicku-rin and Ina-ho in the traveling In pots :)

Great comparison and I had never thought of them that way... but WOW you captured it.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Um, no. I do drug prosecution, and no, those inks do not remind me of MJ at all. Of all the types that I have come across in my work: compressed brick, loose bud, etc., I have never seen MJ that looks like either of those two inks.

I am not reminded of cannabis, as I have to admit I have never seen any (blush), but Ina-ho is a color which in Bulgaria the older people call "Tobacco" colour - a medium to light brownish-green. I did not think of this until you mentioned the said association, but it is definitely "Tobacco" colour.

Yeah, me too.That's a very evocative brown. I love those Iroshizuku inks. I have Konpeki in a pen at all times. I own the Bamboo green but for me it's not an everyday ink.

oh yeah, neighborhood issue.. still pondering - what does one do when smoke from elsewhere enters your (actually a neighbor's) abode? people lose jobs with no excuse during random testing. Can you force smoke filtering if it is medically prescribed?

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
