This is a pretty big departure from the uniform $29.99 price across the board.

This should give you a color selector ... not sure how long it will last (also : Amazon is known to show the exact same product with a different price to different people).

Some of the colors go up to $26 or so, but most were in the 21-23 range.

My 3rd bottle of Konpeki is order. I use too much Konpeki but now I can get my current bottle out of lock down and actually use Konpeki on most of my pens.

Ku-jaku is even less ($20.71). Now, if they only pack it so that the bottle doesn't break.

Oh...... (bleep)..............

I regret buying.

Wow, you can never have enough Kon-peki! …or any of the Iro blues like Ku-jaku, Ama-iro and Shin-kai (higher prices though).

Chiku-Rin, Ina-Ho and Tsuki-yo are quite low in price as well.

One hint that I use - keep them in your wish list and you'll be automatically notified of price changes.

One day I'll end up with 50 bottles of Konpeki

Not just prime apparently I got my bottle of Tsuki-yo (around $21) and Syo-ro (around $22) from Amazon, course it came shipped in just one piece of cardboard folded over like you ship a book. No bubble wrap or anything to protect the glass bottles. Kind of wished Fuyu-syogun was dropped a little in price too.

That is the only ink I trust in my expensive and old pens. It just works on any pen.

I got my bottles of Ama-iro and Kon-peki safe, with 1 cushion bag in between.

I ordered 10 colors through eBay from a seller in japan, paid $12/bottle and a single $8 shipping fee. It did take them FOREVER to get here, but I already had a few bottles from Amazon. I emailed a few sellers who were all willing to do this, but I ended up going with one that had the most colors I wanted in stock. I thought I had ordered every color I wanted but Goulet last month included a gorgeous peach in the InkDrop so now I want that, too.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
