Hopefully it's not against the rules to endorse individual ebay sellers.

 

This guy is incredible though. It of course helps that his prices are way below what you'd expect to pay stateside (and he has access to stuff we can't even get here), but it's the little things, like:

 

I've had two orders with him recently and in both cases I was going a bit outside the box. The first one was fairly trivial : I wanted the pen in a different color, which I knew existed, but wasn't listed.

 

The second time I ordered two pens and was going back and forth on the nibs (and even changed my mind after the order was in), added in a different converter, etc.

 

Through all that he'll just work with you, making sure you are happy and on top of *all* that the pen was in my hands in little over 48 hours after he dropped them off at the post office.

 

In Tokyo.

 

Then there is the little personalized notes, gift wrapping, etc. And the tea.

 

Needless to say, he'll have all of my future business in any aspect that has to do with Japanese writing materials

PS: For the record : Pilot soft-medium nibs are dreamy. Of course now I want a SFM and SF too. A vicious cycle, I'll tell you ...

I've also had great experience buying pens from him. He readily helped me to procure pens that were not listed on his site. He may be a little slower in replying emails (give about 2-3 days sometimes) as he has a full time job and runs the ebay shop alone, as he explained to me once when he had to handle some pressing issues. Great guy who's ever so helpful and without any airs. Two thumbs up!
