So I've been looking for a pen case.

 

I am considering the Nomadic PE-08.

 

I want a pen case that can keep my fountain pens separate and I can throw in a few pencils, colored pencils, and markers somewhere. I also want a place to put my refills and erasers and such, and I want a good-looking pen case (preferably not leather). The main reason why I don't already have the Nomadic PE-08 is because it just doesn't look that good.

 

Do any of you have any suggestions?

Hm, I have three Nomadic pen cases and love them all.

 

The PE-06 holds quite and amount, at least for me. And I like its looks.

 

I also have the PN-04 which might be more up your ally since it has two extra zipper sides for small stuff. I like it because I can open it up and put it upright in my bag, giving me quick access to a number of pens.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
