Hi,

 

I posted this in the Repairs forum but I thought you folks might be able to help. My No. 14 is missing a click ring. Does anybody know where I can find a replacement? Thanks in advance!

The pen I write with, is the pen I use to sign my name.

got a 74 and a 14 with 1 of the 2 rings missing. It doesn't affect them in anyway: they close tightly and don't leak... Not sure it's worth it to find a replacement to be honest. If you are really afraid a bit of silicon grease on the threads will seal them perfectly.

the first 14 is missing 1 ring, the 74 as the ring position swap since it was damaged(the bottom ring no longer fits).

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
