Someone else is selling the same thing in the Parker Forum. Go figure.

Sorry, obviously new here and was unsure of the most appropriate forum to post the listing in. Any moderator is welcome to delete one or both if it violates TOS.

If you are selling the stuff yourself you should make a classified, which you can only do after you become a gold member (30 days of active membership, active means more than 30 relevant posts (not in Chatter)

If you only want to point the other members attention to something you happened to come along, this should go in Market Watch, and you should mention you are not selling it, or have the risk the mods hide the post.

And, seeing your name, and the shop where you have been pointing to, you just might be a spammer and run the risk of being banned if you do this again....

Rough crowd.

RMN, the "shop" I have been pointing to is an American non profit called Habitat for Humanity. Habitat has built 800,000 homes around the world-from America to Zaire-giving a direct hand up to over 4 million people. I am a lowly volunteer for Habitat and will on occasion share particularly rare or extraordinary donations that we receive with communities that may have an interest in the respective items. Everything Habitat does, to the nail, is funded by the generosity of our community donors.

So, I DON'T personally own the records. Because of my admiration for Habitat, I DO have a considerable interest in the proceeds of the sale. I am NOT spamming. At least, that is not my intention. I am sharing what I thought would be a very interesting piece of Fountain Pen history with a community of fountain pen enthusiasts.

It is certainly not my attention to offend or show disrespect to the community.

I'm sure no one has any problem with HfH.

However, if your Intention was Not to offend or disrespect the community, the Best way to do That would be to stick around and post about pens Without "hawking" something. And, that would probably apply to WhateverThe HeckItIsNetwork.com net wide.

You also Blitzkrieged Facebook. A member here mentioning your items from there, which I think Already happened, is perfectly permissible in the Marketplace forum here.

No matter Who it is for, there IS such a thing as over saturation.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
