Rohrer & Klingner In Germany

I'm searching for a german source for Rohrer & Klinger at reasonable prices that will ship in the EU. I looked on ebay.de and I found a shop with a great price but it's shipping only in Germany.

Thanks!

Try contacting Rolf Thiel of missing-pen.de The website's not much help at the moment, he sells on ebay, and I'm pretty sure he's delivered to folks in the States as well as elsewhere in Europe. Drop him an email (which can be found at missing-pen.de )

If you want to order a bigger quantity so additional postage doesn't matter that much and you don't find a shop I can proxy the ink for you too if you want :)

He's stopped doing inks. He's only dealing with pens now.

At least that's what he answered when I've tried sourcing inks from him, he redirected me to http://schreibstoff-shop.de/ that's where that business branch from him went obviously.

My Pens/Nibs (inked/active): Lamy Studio/Vista/Joy (XXF slight-flex custom | 14k EF | EF | F | 14k M | M | B | 14k 1.1 custom | 1.1 | 1.5 | 1.9), TWSBI Diamond 580 (F | Pendleton BadBoy | Zebra G | F.P.R. semi-flex), Pilot Falcon EF, Penkala Vintage 14k semi-flex, Pilot Parallel (2.4 | 3.8 | 6.0)

http://www.fp-ink.info/img/button.pngI'm still looking for help/data/supporters/sponsors for my Ink Database - It already contains over 900 Inks but is still low on data about the inks except on the Inks I got myself or where I found nice data sheets. So Im looking for these: InkSamples mailed to me, Permissions to use InkReviews - preferable by people who have a lot of InkReviews online, InkReviews mailed to me so I can scan them, Sponsors that will help me to finance InkSamples, People willing to trade InkSamples (list of available Inks from me is available via PM request - please include available Inks)

I know you asked for German sources but I wanted to add that I order my R & K inks from The Writing desk in the UK http://www.thewritingdesk.co.uk/index.php . Both their prices and delivery charges are very reasonable.

Actually from them I was buying my inks, but I'm really frustrated by the fact that the Royal Mail hands over the packages to GLS (see my other post) and it takes for ever to arrive. Their prices are really nice.

What do you mean by bigger quantity?

Schreibstoff is owned by Thomas Meier who is a very good supplier. He has wit, humour and interest in inks and his customers and is very reasonably priced and efficient in packaging and mailing. In short he provides an excellent sales service. In addition, there is a chocolate in every package he sends out.

Well shipping a single bottle from the shop to me and then to you would probably add enough shipping fee that it wouldn't be a nice price anymore. Shipping multiple bottles the additional shipping cost for the reshipping would divide between them a bit and thus not impact the bottle price so much. It's a matter of personal preference basically.

If you can't find any distributor I'll ship you single bottles too of course as long as you're happy with the cost :)

Thank you so much. I think it will become my source for paper and ink. The prices are ok and the free delivery over 100 euros sound really nice.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
