I bought a Parker Vector Calligraphy set a few years ago and use it for writing everything.

I just the fine calligraphy nib.

I have recently lost the pen, which is easy enough to replace from the local stationary store but I can't find anywhere to get replacement nibs.

I have lost/ had pen damaged a couple of times and managed to buy a couple of nibs before but can't find anywhere now.

I have tried contacting Parker Pens but have had no reply.

Does anyone know anywhere on line were I can buy fine calligraphy nibs for the Parker Vector?

They come up every now and again on Ebay, but I haven't seen one recently (although I haven't looked either).

A year and a half ago I picked up a complete calligraphy set with a pen, a converter, a bunch of cartridges in different colors of ink, and which had 4 nib units (ranging from F italic to XB italic). You might do just as well getting one of the sets, because that way you'll get an extra pen out of the deal (I paid about $11.50 US + another $12 in shipping, but the set came in a very nice metal box and was probably too large for the standard size Priority Mail boxes). My set was made in the UK, but I've only used the F italic nib so far.
I think some of the sets I've seen were from Ebay seller streetfair; no affiliation other than I've bought stuff from there in the past with no issues -- in fact I just ordered a Vector "Looney Tunes Taz" pen and a converter as a gift for a friend (on the basis that she "needs" a Taz pen ).

Hope this helps.

I have ordered mine through my go-to B&M shop. Parker still supplies them. AFAIK you have choice from steel and gold nibs, even in different colours.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
