Where can I still purchase a Belliver from? Does anyone know whether exclusivepens.co.uk is an authorised distributor of Conway Stewart?

Bryant has all the LE #1 editions too!

Mary, I've noticed this on Bryant's website. In fact I have #100/100 on a CS Churchill Excalibur with the C/C filler.

Does Bryant have exclusivity with CS on all #1 LE's?

You have a few Conway Stewart Belliver pens or do you mean you have Conway Stewarts pens in general?

If Belliver, what do you have left?

There is a Meteor Belliver for sale on EBay right now. From Mary Burke. Quite a beautiful color and pen.

I saw a Meteor Duo but no Belliver? Must have sold already.

I checked on EBay and the pen (Belliver Meteor) did not sell. It may come up again as relisted, but the seller was Mary Burke (one of the mods here) so you may want to try and contact her by PM, and see if she will sell it it outright if you're interested. I think the color Meteor is fantastic (though I have only seen photos), and it may be your last chance to get one. It is a brand new in the box with all the paperwork pen with a medium nib, selling for $590 USD I think, though she may give a better deal. Doesn't hurt to ask.

No affiliation, etc. I do own two Bellivers, and they are among my favorite fountain pens.

That what you get when a company goes bankrupt and the pens are no longer being made.

If I could still buy one thru regular dealers I would but all I have contacted no longer have any Bellivers in stock and you cannot order them for obvious reasons.

The ones I see are from the same vendors, at the same (exorbitant) prices as before the demise of CS. True, some folks are trying to leverage the "out of business" angle to maximize their profits; but those pens just aren't worth it.

I have a soft spot for CS, despite my better judgement. I ordered a "new" 58 (one of the last ones they made before they went belly-up), which got here yesterday. It went back today. The inner cap wasn't big enough for the nib.

I'm gonna stick with the old ones, I think, although my offer was accepted for this 58.

The NOS Belliver, in meteor color, has been relisted on eBay again today, by Mary. Is nobody interested? I have two, certainly my favorite pens, and would snag this one too if I could. Shame to see it not sold...

I am interested, but I bought a Conway Stewart Britannia when I could not find the Belliver earlier. May later this year she will still have it.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
