Conway Stewart Contact/service Information

For the moment, while Conway Stewart is in administration it would be best to contact the administrators

The Administrators, C/o. Conway Stewart, 2/3 Haxter Close, Belliver Estate, Plymouth, Devon, PL67DD.

Do this only if you have directly ordered from Conway Stewart and have already paid, but not received your pen.

Also if you have send in a pen for repair that is not back yet.

So only if Conway Stewart have something that is yours and paid for.

Also, if you have paid through Credit Card or PayPal, take contact with them for their buyers protection.

If you have ordered through a shop, let the shopowner deal with it. In that case, do not take contact yourself, it will only muddy things up.

Please do not use this for any other matters.

The Administrators are:

Below the original text of the topicstarter, now not relevant any more......

While I love volunteering on FPN, as it allows me to assist the customers I adore, there is someone directly assigned at the factory with that responsibility and contacting her is MUCH faster and more efficient. Her name is Kayleigh Care, her contact info is Tel: 01752 776776 Email: kayleighcare@conwaystewart.co.uk and her global time zone is 8AM to 4PM GMT. With her 11 years of experience at Conway Stewart, I feel certain you will come to love her as we do, and you will find having a contact right there at the factory far more efficient than my long-distance efforts from Seattle, which is 8 hours, an ocean, and a continent away from the Conway Stewart factory.

Will you no longer be serving our community Mary? It seems that much is changing at CS as of late.

I hope not, she has been a blessing to all of us who love CS. In spite of the trolls who have constantly attacked the marque here.

I believe it's more a matter of efficiency & streamlining. While Mary loves to help (Lord knows, I've bothered, er, pestered, um, emailed her myself), querying her instead of the customer service rep direct adds another person, not to mention time delays as West Coast US is 8 hours behind the UK.

Given her work load and new responsibilities, best we follow the chain of command & save Mary for the BIG issues rather than individual problems with pens.

Will you still be connected Mary? I received the email re your resignation.

I don't want to pry into affairs that are none of my business of course so this is just a very general question.

Customer service contacts haven't worked for me. Have contacted them three times over the past week re the Churchill Excalibur LE that I ordered with no response to any of the emails. I was attempting to confirm that they had the order, whether it was in stock and when they planned to ship it.

I will make one more attempt and then if there is no response, cancel the order.

When did you place the order? It was my understanding that this model has been sold out for quite some time.

Just checked on the Conway Stewart web site, and the Excalibur is sold out. Still, they should have got back to you j101.

I placed the order about two weeks ago and paid for it upfront.

Did you order directly through their webshop?

I have found out 6 years ago they sometimes forget to update the website when they run out of an LE. Could have happened again.

Tough luck, but I'm sure if you paid by credit card they will refund the money.

CS informs me that my Churchill Excalibur LE shipped today by Royal Post. I have the tracking number and it should arrive here in about ten days.

I am informed that they are NOT sold out of Churchill Excalibur Limited Edition pen sets, and they have "a few left" and they can be ordered direct on their website which is http://www.conwaystewart.co.uk/product/excalibur/

Received last Wednesday. It is No. 3 of 100!

Well worth waiting for. Still a few left they say.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
