Hi Guys

Just got hold of MB Dostoevsky B.

It is a new pen and I am having problems. It is skipping and I believe there is ink flow problems. Am using Waterman ink which is pretty decent.

Secondly, despite the skipping the writing is not smooth. My hands get tired and painful when I write as I have to press with different pressure levels to make the ink flow depending on the position of my hand and the words I am writing.

I did flush the pen with water, but I am thinking of soaking the nib in cold water for at least 12 hours to open up the pen.

Would that be enough or should I go for 48 hours with dishwashing detergent?

Feedback appreciated.
