Vacumatic Made In Canadá 135Mm 14Mm

Filling system have a locking mechanism, the dimensions are 135mm by 14mm.

The nib is in 18K Two-Tone.
The cap has three rings. Duble jewel. Made in Canada.

At 135mm and having a lockdown filler I'm thinking it is an Oversize. The Major and Maxima models weren't introduced yet. It could also be a Standard, but I believe the Standard was usually shorter than that.

 

If the nib is 18kt, I wonder if it was made for the French market.

Also i've notice the feathers on the nib, 9 of them. Also the 3 rings on the cap is not like wide band from Maxima. Maybe a Oversize.

My oversize is 135mm X 14mm, lock down and three rings. A Maxima would have one wider than a major or standard cap band, speedline filler and would have the same length but narrower, about 13mm wide.

 

The nib on my oversize is monochrome and has 10 feathers. The Maxima is two tone with nine feathers. Both are 14k.

At one point there was a Senior Maxima that was 139 x16 but the Maxima of that same year was 135x14. See this chart @ 1938

135mm long, nine segments in the fletching, a lockdown filler and three cap rings? It's an Oversize.

 

The cap will be 15mm wide and the nib will be a dream!
