We get a lot of emails from customers trying to decide which Sheaffer new old stock model to try. Two of our most popular models are the Imperial II Deluxe and the "quasi-Imperial" model 440. Two different filling systems, two different nibs.

We decided to bundle them together for a special price of $78 for the pair, which is a savings of $12 off the price of buying them individually.

The listing has been set up to allow you to choose a color, and you'll get both pens in that color, and both will be fine nibbed pens. Sorry, we don't have enough pens in other nib sizes to extend this offer beyond the fines. These are first quality pens. (We may consider doing a similar listing for our "seconds," but we'll see how this pairing fares first.)

You'll find details about these models on the web site. Basically, the Imperial II is a Touchdown pen with a conical nib, and the 440 is a cartridge/converter pen with an inlaid nib.

Thanks!

TERI

I'm tempted, but afraid I'll like the 440 better than the Waterman Carane I just bought.  :)

The 440 cap will post more easily, and it is less expensive.  Beyond that . . .

I do like the Sheaffer Touchdown models.

Heh, I was just thinking, "I've got two 14k Touchdowns with the Triumph nib... I don't need another Touchdown... but a C/C would be easier to clean!"

Also, maybe I do, for a Medium.

Still pondering it.  Looking for the discount voucher I know they sent me.  :)

Yep, I wish we had an abundance of nibs other than fine. We've only got a small handful of mediums so we can't bundle them.
