Here are a few pics of my Sheaffer 550 Imperial with a Factory broad which is like a STUB (already posted on reddit) -

PLEASE PLEASE... ANYONE HAVING THESE PENS, I am open to buying should have 14k broad or stub nib, I will trade/buy

Great photos. Those inlaid nibs and especially the stubs really are the business :)

 

I agree... Finest Sheaffer ever made !! :)

Not meaning to hijack Lord's thread but those who have Medium nibs should be encouraged to get in on the fun too!

I also miswrote in the writing sample, Richard Binder did the finish work on this, not Mike. Mike does most all the rest of my nibs but he won't

grind in inlaid at a show.

 

The MegaStubs are nice for special occasions but a M nib will give you a more usable day to day pen IMO.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..
