I want to first say thanks to everybody who's participated in the pen raffles.

To date, for this year, we've raised appx $5280.

Wow that's awesome.

Here are some new pens.   :)

EsterNewt II alongside it's older brother.   :)
This one is made from translucent gray and black acrylic - the brother from some green web striated celluloid.

The last three were mine. Cannot wait to get them!

Now that is really cool!

Shawn did a great job with the Shinobi. Glad I went with all demo.

Now the big question is do you also still have any of the Sheaffer rods left over to make more pens from?  :puddle:

I've only got 6 1/2" of the Sheaffer Blue Cobalt.  Enough for one pen if you go with black section, barrel and cap finials.

I have plenty of gray and blue for another Shinobi though.

:)

Really beautiful work, Shawn.  I can't believe how far you've come with it in such a short period of time.

Tempting. What other transparent acrylics do you have? Ordering a copy of an ordermade pen seems a bit gauche...

Oh maaaaaannn. I wish I had not opened this thread. I am sort of on a buying moratorium this year, and your work is testing my resolve. Beautiful work. Love the sterling clips. Also, my hat off to you sir, for what you do to support art\education.

Some people say they march to a different drummer. Me? I hear bagpipes.

Thanks!  You could enter the raffle and not be out more than $10, and possibly win a pen, but definitely help some kids.  ;)

The Sterling clip looks great, and using a non-standard clip differentiates your pens.

Thanks!  That's exactly why I want to use these - to get away from the same three or four clips that everybody else uses.

I wish having them made wasn't so expensive though. ;)

The sterling clip is very high quality. Good tension and feels substantial. I like it. Love the shape of it as well. Very classy.
