Hello everyone.  I had the day off today and my wife went to work so that left me some time to do something that I could never do under her watchful eye… photograph the flock.  I think a formal introduction is long overdue.  Just for your reference, <X> indicates nib size.  Depicted below are 64 of my 65 birds at the time of this posting.  Enjoy!

Lets start with some Pelikan peripherals…Large blue pen holder and gold, silver, and white small pen rest.  1, 2, and 3 pen cases

That's a neat collection. Are you collecting ALL Pelikans or only the Souverän series?

Thanks for showing.

I'm open to collecting all Pelikans but my focus is the M100-M250 series.  I ultimately want to collect every variation released in that series.  I've been researching for a while now and have come up with a total of 72 pens over that range.  I'm about 2/3 of the way there.

Nice collection but do you get to write with all of them?

Everyone of them gets written with.  I usually have 1-2 inked up at a time.  Each week sees a new pen or two pulled into rotation and the prior weeks pen flushed, cleaned, and stored.

Do you happen to have a side by side, uncapped pic of your 400NN, 120, and 140?

I don't have any of those pics available.  I'll try to do that at some point if I'm able.

Most excellent.

Very nice collection, and thanks for sharing.

This should be pinned.  It is an excellent visual reference, especially for those of us new to Pelikan.

Do you happen to have a side by side, uncapped pic of your 400NN, 120, and 140?

I don't have any of those pics available.  I'll try to do that at some point if I'm able.

no need now - i have a 400NN and 140 in hand to compare, and the 120 will fit in right between the two if i'm correct.

Very nice, Joshua. Some very fine examples of those pens.

Lovely collection, sir, and the answer to a comment I made in another thread about you having "most" or "all" of the M200/250 series pens.

You might well want to keep your eyes open for some of the derby-cap M200/250 demonstrators.  I have one in brilliant clear green which seems to cross the boundaries a bit with cap-rings to match the 250 designation (almost - the rings have an attachment between the thin and thick ones that I've only seen on this specific model) and no ring on the piston (similar to the M250 in burgundy).  I'd imagine that there would be some disputes on various collectors' parts about the precise definition of the line number.

I'll see if I can get some photos later this week to post to you.
