So you know I’ve always offered nib grinds on the pens I make.  Lately I’ve been getting requests to grind other pens and have decided to add that to the site.

I got an awesome review from The Pen Addict of a fine grind to a Lamy Studio.

For more info and prices, please stop by:

Here are a couple pics.

A couple Lamy Safaris both to XF.  You can see my line on the line below above a standard Lamy XF.

My TWSBI line next to a Masuyama .2mm XF Pelikan M215 grind.

And a pic from a happy customer – Pilot EF and my .2mm EF grind.

So please send a note if you want a grind.  :)

I recently sent a Pelikan pen to Mr. Newton for a custom grind and just received the pen back. I am extremely pleased with the service! The custom grind on the pen is precisely what I requested, and Mr. Newton's service was courteous and professional. I plan to send other pens in for custom nib grinds to Newton Pens.

I sent in two nibs for a grind from M to M/F. Could not be happier. Thank you for the quick turn around and updates every step of the way.

I do more than grinds.  Here's one I straightened up tonight.

Thanks!  Hmm...  Now I'm going to go look it up.  I know nothing about it except it's shiny and heavy.   :)

Yes, always look up the value AFTER you've fixed it.

I knew it was expensive but I wasn't really worried about it.  Either I could fix it or not.  :)

Shawn has done multiple custom grinds for our customers- and for us personally; he always strives for perfection! This pen looks better in person!

I concur 100% with the previous commentators.  I requested a Smmoth 7/10 wet XXF Nib and it's perfect.  I'm liking it as much as I do my Franklin Christoph Needle Points done by Matsuyama.  Life is perfect.  Try Shawn you won't be sorry.  Another satisfied client, no affiliation. Jim
