  • Without a doubt this is a one of a kind fountain pen. The body is made of a unique resin composed of basaltic lava (more than 50%) straight from Mount Etna volcano.
  • This new resin is highly resistant to bumps and heat, and its appearence and texture give this pen a primitive yet noble character.
  • The polished steel clip and trims combine magnificently with the black body.
  • This is the first fountain pen to include a 23K palladium nib, which is supposed to provide a more flexible stroke than the 18K gold nib.
  • Another innovative feature can be found in the closure system. The cap is secured by a spring that requires pushing and turning to open or close.

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
