Organics Studio Ink - Any Experiences With The Online Shop?

Having issues with an order - it's insanely late and I'm getting no replies. Is there something wrong?

I'd start a paypal dispute at this point, but I've been tangled up in a whole bunch of thorny family stuff and missed the deadline :-/ Just trying to figure out if I should kiss my money goodbye, or if it's worth persevering because they normally reply and take care of their customers so maybe this is just a temporary setback (maybe they've got tricky family stuff too!). I mean it's not a huge sum, losing it won't bankrupt me or anything, but it's still more than I'm comfortable dismissing as not worth the hassle of getting it back/getting a replacement. Does that make sense?

Anyway, would appreciate experiences. Go private if you feel you should :-)

Looking for a cheap Pilot VP/Capless - willing to put up with lots of cosmetic damage.

I've been having a hard time getting a reply from Tyler lately also.

Edit:

I just emailed him again today and will see if he responds. If not I'll try the Bookface.

I don't use the bookface (lol) for shopping/businessy type things. If he doesn't respond to the email but does respond there, would you please let me know if it isn't too much trouble? ta :)

I had to wait a couple of weeks for a bottle from Tyler, but he came through. And it came with a considerate apology. I think he's just swamped trying to deal with this business. And likely away for Thanksgiving. Send him a reminder, but I don't think you need to worry about not getting the ink.

Hey guys -

Sorry for the delay with everything, I have been insanely busy. As most of you might now, I'm a full time student at the moment, and had a bunch of deadlines coming up for graduate school. Needless to say I've been a bit of a ghost. I am anticipating that most things I've had on the back burner should go out this week. Again, I'm really sorry for being so hard to get a hold of, but with the holiday and the applications (and school too), I've been all over the place. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

No worries here Tyler. I know what school can be like. Love the inks and just to let you know I'm rooting for OS. :)

oh. hi! Thanks for stopping by and letting everyone know :-) Could you please write to me and let me know what's going on though, specifically for my order? It's just that it's been quite a long time and now it sounds like it might not have shipped at all. If it hasn't, in many ways that's a good thing, it means it didn't get lost on its way! Either way it would be nice to get a bit more detail, if of course there aren't too many others before me that you would need to reply to first :-)

ETA: I can email you again as a reminder, if you'd like. I was going to like ksh suggested before I saw your reply and decided to ask you first

Sorry for the zombie thread! I never got my bottle of pen flush that I had ordered, and I thought maybe he'd gone out of business or something. But then I just saw that he is supplying inks to the Goulets, so I guess not! He wasn't responding to my emails though (maybe he's not using that address anymore?) so I thought I'd post here - figured either he would see it and respond, or someone else will know more.

hope that's okay mods :P

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
