Organics Studio sent over inks for the 2013 Fade Olympics and I'm trying to get them reviewed and readied for the window. So, as I ink them up, I'm posting my little musings. I'll try and add more images when I have them available.

Thanks for the review! Mine has tended to look lighter or darker depending on the ink flow in my stupendously inconsistent red Parker Vacumatic. It's a great color, though. I'm very fond of my bottle.

Wonderful ink. Like others have mentioned, my Poe looks much darker than this example. More along the lines of Diamine Oxblood.

I make all of the inks on a ~100 bottle at a time batch process, so each batch can have a bit of a shift. One of the drawbacks of making ink in a dorm :)

No complains from here man !!!!! :D

 

My Poe is wonderful... and I am willing to bet is more the wetness of the pen and quality of the paper that makes it deliciously dark... ;)

Lol... I'll be posting some mini reviews.. (or informal reviews..) and my artist in residence created that after I told her the name of the ink. ;)

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy.       I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off.
