Sounds just like Lettermo, AKA A Month of Letters, but hey, whatever gets folks writing.

I will do this. Last year I wrote and mailed over 40 letters during the month. Too much for me. So this year, 23

I did it last year, too. Don't think I managed 28 letters, nor did they go out daily, but I did a pretty good job. I think I'll try it again. Gotta use up all that ink somehow, right?

I had a go at this last year - can't recall whether it was this one or LetterMo - and nearly made the monthly count. I'm aiming for it this time!

Why wait for a specific month? When ever a letter arrives in the mail box it is letter writing day. The more letters, the more letter writing days.

I am in, Just put my 3rd letter in the mail box. What a great way to use my pens and  get to know people in the community.

How can I get me one of those icons that says letter exchange participant?

I'm in, so long as one can make up for a letterless day by sending two the next.
Thus far, in addition to penpals, victims recipients include one of my favourite ballet dancers (first piece of fanmail I've sent since I wrote to QB Joe Montana when I was 10. He replied with a signed card, too !) as well as the lady who serves me my coffee each morning - she goes off on pregnancy leave at the end of the week, and I've a card for her.

Ugh. I was planning to participate, but my neighbor's drunk son-in-law decided that my mailbox looked better on the ground than on the post. Unfortunately, he shattered the post when he hit it, and it'll be probably next weekend before we can get a new mailbox put up. And my time is so booked this week, I can't spare the time to detour to the post office. :(

Well, seven days, seven letters. I won't speak of momentum in such a massless undertaking, but 25% done without a stumble is quite encouraging.

So far, 7 letters in 7 days. This is a great discipline, though why would I use that word for something I love to do? I guess it gives me the excuse to sit down on a busy day!

Eight days into the month.

I was thinking it may be too late to put my hat in the ring except that, already this month, I have hand written two letters to my daughter (away at college), a letter to each of my U.S. Senators, and a letter to my aunt. I could easily be "caught up" after this weekend.

I'm in!

I'm afraid I haven't been able to send out a letter each day, but I plan on writing enough letters over the next three or four weeks to make up for my slow progress.

I kept up with one letter per day through the 11th, but then I missed a day and had a huge emergency that took more than 24 hours to deal with. So I mailed 4 letters on the 14th to catch up. Sadly, I failed to actually mail anything on three days the USPS is open (I started out doing the LetterMo rules, and added InCoWriMo later), but I have mailed 15 letters in 14 days.

Since I added InCoWriMo, I have used harvested addresses from their website for the extra (Sunday and President's day) letters instead of people I already know. If anyone wants an InCoWriMo letter from me, the first three to PM me an address win (two Sundays and President's day still to go).

Hopefully I can keep it up for the rest of the month more like the first 10 days, without missing days.
