Sheaffer´s Models Excel Book

lazard

Recommended Posts

I made a Excell book with all the models Sheaffer'S of years ' 30 and ' 40 from estriated to the molded for injection. With annexes for the prefix color, suffix identification dates back, prices and plunger measures for Sheaffer'S One-Stroke-Vacuum.

You can to filter the results for name, for model, for price, for system, for cap band, for different combinations, and so on.

If you wish a copy you can send me a private message.

Regards

Hello,

I don't know if you are still sending out your excel file on Sheaffer Models but if you are I would welcome it please?

Kind Regards Tim Marshall

I'd like to get a copy too! I can add links to photos of the pens when we have them.

Perhaps the Excel version will have column headings? I'm not sure I am properly decoding all the dense info.

Great work!

Teri

You can copy the list above, save it as a text file and then open it in Excel (or similar software) marking "space" as a columns separator. It will still need some work (moving content between columns, putting back together some of the names or data) as, among other things, one heading and some model names are two-word ones which makes the chart slightly disorganized. Also headings translation from Spanish is an option ... Obviously, one might want to organize the text file to make it perfectly ready to nicely fit the columns - (tab key after each position in the given column and then tabulator checked as a columns separator)

Lots of work done Lazard, and although it's been almost a year ago, Thank you for doing it, :)

Personally I miss some info here to make the chart useful as a reference guide but it's still very very nice that someone decided to do it and made it available to everyone.

BR,

Mac

The fundamental substance is air. The soul is air; fire is rarefied air; when condensed, air becomes first water, then if further condensed, earth, and finally stone...

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
