This Writing Instruments Limited Edition Collection, belonging to the OMAS "International Best Flavour Limited Edition" series, has been designed in partnership with Corporación Habanos, S. A.

It reflects OMAS writing instruments expertise together with the original shape for writing instruments, inspired by the COHIBA brand design.

 

The Pleasure of Writing is ensured by a well balanced instrument with the cap screwed on the pen knob while writing. Realized in Silver Vermeil and in Ziricote wood, echo of the origins and reflecting the unique pattern of raw material used by the brand, the COHIBA LIMITED EDITION by OMAS Writing Instrument Collection is composed by 1,966 pieces: 1,000 piston-filled fountain pens and 966 Roller Balls as a tribute to the year of foundation of COHIBA brand. The COHIBA LIMITED EDITION by OMAS Writing Instrument Collection is enriched by 56 pieces in 18ct Gold and Ziricote Wood: : 40 piston-filled fountain pens and 16 Roller Balls.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy.
