WOW! I bet they can see that from the Space Station! That has to be the pinkest pinkly pink pinker than pink color I have ever seen on my computer screen. Does it maybe have a screen layer of OLED to do that?

Seriously, for the right (and sweet) person   I'm sure that's a treasure and hard to find. Their example photos make that fluorescent color series it even more impactful, even though it is only the green shown below:

With the new FPN rules, now I REALLY don't know what to put in my signature.

These are so wow bold colorful. I am a boring black or brown satchel guy. That pink or Fuschia is quite unique. Nice bag and thanks for sharing a picture.

If you ever feel like changing into a bright and cheerful satchel king of guy, those are available quite close to you. If you want to see all the colours (bring welders glasses), next time you are in Toronto visit Zane 753 Queen Street West.

Literally knocked me back out of my chair when that loaded. Pretty sure my retina's are bleeding. Do they have an orange one in the same.... subdued tone?

I came across a less -ahem- distinctive color on Ebay recently, and actually won the bid. This is now my new man-bag - the fuschia would just not work.

I expect this will always be carrying my journal, pen case, and e-reader. Occasionally it will be a laptop bag.

The chances of a light fingered reprobate making off with a fluorescent fuchsia or lime green one is much lower. Practical as this is, it just blends in too much.

I've now been using this bag for a bit over a week, so here are my first impressions:

- I have the 15" batchel (satchel with a handle). They are accurate on the size, and it can be a squeeze at full load. At normal load, the size is perfect.

- Normal load: Journal notebook, pen case, e-reader, calculator, business card case, small notebook for jotting notes and lists

- Full load: All of the above minus the e-reader, 11 inch netbook with power adapter and mini mouse

- The overall construction quality is exceptionally high. Everything is tight and solid, the leather is uniform, and the hardware is very good.

- The strap is quite well executed, and makes carrying the bag easy.

Bearing in mind that this is my man-bag, it seems to garner a fair amount of appreciative attention.

Glenn, click on the link, and there you can see the various models in more subdued colors. Very nice-looking. Apparently, some Bloomingdale'ses carry the line, including the one in downtown San Francisco.

You did comment on the color. :-D

If you wanted to see the bag in other colors, though...

I like it! The pink's too flashy for me (probably no surprise there), but the bags look great.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
