Are you saying I have to wait three weeks? :bonk: Nothing's on sale yet????? :crybaby:

I'm afraid so, hehehe. Over 1000 bottles of ink from Diamine, over 80 different colours!

This will be great and trust me, it will be worth the wait.

The ink fairy came today! I got the unlabeled bottles from you Niklas - a brown and a blue-blackish + some red cartridges. Diamine is quickly becoming one of my favorites... :cloud9: I don't know what the colors are exactly, but I love them nonetheless. Ahh, if only they were waterproof. Thanks. I'll be putting an order for ink in a couple of weeks. I <3 inks so much.

rather than 30ml at Stylos for $7.50

For me the 30 mL Diamine bottles are US$4.48 (with free worldwide shipping), which is damn cheap IMHO when you consider what 2-5 mL samples go for!

All right - my bad. I got confused with the R&K prices (ordered in the same batch). You are right - They are cheap. I have deleted my posts. Thanks for clearing the confusion.

Hi Niklas,

So, I bought bunch of inks yesterday from Stylos.Se - I obviously did not get these dicounted prices. Would it make sense to cancel the orders and re-order in February or are there any other options to get the discount. Please PM me if you like.

Hi Niklas,

In your newsletter you said you were introducing a new brand of ink to your shop. I was just wondering if you've confirmed what ink it will be? Thank you!

Hi

I'm choosing between a few new brands, nothing decided yet. Hopefully I will add the new brand in May. Do you have any suggestions?

I would like to see Noodler's at Nordic Pen Imports, Niklas. It can be difficult at times to find Noodler's outside the USA, and most sellers in the USA charge a bomb for international shipping.

+1

I hear it's rather difficult to transport Noodler's outside the US, which is why it is in scarce supply in Europe. Private Reserve would be a good choice, too.

De Atramentis? J. Herbin? (you've got Diamine and R&K covered, might as well collect the whole set :P)

Perhaps some other continental European inks that you may know about?

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
