Fpn Pens About To Be Shipped!

Recommended Posts

Dearest Members and Visitors of the Fountain Pen Nut House,

We are very close to shipping now, on Monday the first pens will leave the factory destined for their new owners! :bunny01: :bunny01: :bunny01: . Read more here:

Last checks on shipping and shipping info...

As mentioned in the previous update, there are (were)

A few extra pens available...

However, all but three pens have now been sold, and only the following are still available:

0 3 FPN LE Etruria Blue Celluloid (Acetate) pens with Vermeil Trim and 18K duotone nib (Update 2011-11-29)

Besides additional nibs for Passaporto (Sold out) and a few for Etruria (Sold out), that's really all there is left! (Update 2011-11-30)

In case you can't find the nib of your choice in one of the models, please do contact us, as we may be able to provide a different nib, or exchange a nib with another one within the same model range, provided Etruria S.r.l. can still provide such a nib.

To get to the FPN Store, either click on the Tab at the top of the window just underneath the header, on the link in the message at the top of the page, or alternatively here is a direct link to the Store.

We have asked \etruria for us to sell any production overrun pens as well, so there may still be a few available after manufacturring has finished, and we will update the store accordingly. If you'd like one, reservations are coming in fast, so better let us know asap, preferably as a request to our FPN Pens coordinator - check the column on FPN Pens for info (Last checks on shipping and shipping info...).Contact info is listed in the column linked to.

Warm regards,

How much longer till the pens arrive, and are the Passaporto's even in the states yet?

Good question. I'll hear more tomorrow. Several packages have been wrapped already, for the US :D. I guess they will go tomorrow :D.

That's for the Chrome trim Passaportos anyway.

BTW, you do have access to the FPN Pens forum, why not check there? :D. There are also a few photographs of actual production FPN Passaportos there :D.

Warm regards, Wim

Thanks for the response as soon as I remembered the FPN Pens forum. I see I will just have to wait a bit longer since I got the gold trim passaporto.

I went down to get the mail today and got really excited when I found one of those little orange slips in the box. It was quite a disappointment to discover that it was plain old certified mail for one of the folks with whom I share office space. :(

I came here for the pictures and stayed for the conversation.

Thank you!

Please do post a picture of your pen here when it has arrived. Nobody has seen a gold colour trim FPN Passaporto yet :D.

Is DHL the courier for the US pens? If so I hope they contract out the deliveries in my area because they have a very limited presence in this state. FEDEX or UPS would have been better.

Hi

My pen arrived in Israel yesterday.

I posted my thanks through the blog but I assume that nobody will object if I thank Wim and anybody or everybody else involved here as well. I am really impressed by the fantastic way in which this project was carried out

Again thank you

Received my chrome Passporto today. Great timing as the DHL truck drove up right as I was about to leave for work. Filled it up with Ottoman Azure (the only blue I had) once I got there. Took a bit of writing to get it flowing, so probably needed to flush it first. But was excited to have it.

Thanks to FPN!

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
