Hello, I can not understand why you asked twice?
and I have said all pens are in mint.

and I can not understand why you will think these are used? 101n launched no more than 20days.
I am a pelikan seller.

Hello,

I think this is simply a language misunderstanding.
"Mint" does not mean new.
"Mint" means like new, ,.,....... but not new.

If you would have stated New rather than Mint, everything would be understood.
I hope I am explaining myself clear enough ?

I repeated myself because I asked if they were new, and you replied that they were Mint.
Twice.

thank you,
Rafael

sorry, I thought in mint means: brand new
if the pen looks like new, we will say: near mint.

so, the pens are brand new.

I disagree that "Mint" means like new, but not new. For me, mint means factory new, never used.

Here is Richard Binder's definition of mint:

"A term adopted from numismatics, to describe an item that is in “new” condition, nominally exactly as from the factory. Most collectors interpret “mint” to mean that the item shows no signs whatsoever of use, not even the tiny dings or scratches that could appear on a coin in mint condition."

Prosimon, I think the issue is settled. Mint does not mean new. Binder's definition makes that perfectly clear. If you were buying underwear and there was no box or plastic covering but the sales-person told you that the item was "mint," would you still consider that new? I should hope not! Read the definition over again.

U.S. buyers should be aware that pens that have not been not imported to the U.S.A. by Chartpak, the authorized U.S. distributor, are referred to as "gray-market" merchandise, and Chartpak will not provide any warranty service for them. If you require service, you will have to send your pen back to the distributor operating in the country in which your seller is located.

This is not to say that gray-market pens are counterfeit, illegal, junk, or anything other than first-quality Pelikan pens; it's just an advisory that you should be aware of your options for service should your pen need it.

Today, I just received my order - one in <B> nib - hand-delivered via registered mail.

Flushed a few times, and filled with WM Florida Blue.
It writes beautifully , as is usually expected of Pelikans.

Shipping was quicker than expected.

The item is brand new with the G5 box.
No issues whatsoever. :D
