Gallery of all the Bespoke CS that has been ordered recently

I guess most CS addicts haven't missed out the special price for bespoke pens this last weeks. I know that at least Bryant and TWD has had this offer, so I guess there are a few among us that have ordered one or many bespoke CS. It has been suggested in the marketplace thread to have a little gallery here of our various pens. Since I think it is a very good idea I hope to see many pics in the CS forum. The best should be a single thread - like a gallery - of the various pens. This gallery thread should also be open for other CS pens - old and new - not only the ones that have been bought right now. If people like it and contribute with pics it might develop into a pinned pen gallery where people can add pics of their CS. I know there is a separate forum for that, but it would be fun to have one thread of only CS pens. It would be a dream to have that kind of gallery to browse when to decide upon which colour, model etc etc. Just a thought.

Well, I'll start with a gallery of my current "before" pens. These are just my moderns.

Left to right: Dinkie in Sapphire Blue, Nightingale in Ruby, Knightsbridge, Elements in Water, Dandy in Azure, and Clogau Gold (100) in Quartz Blue

Oh - they are all beautiful, but that Knightsbridge...

Thanks Deirdre!

It's funny, I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I find that I carry it every day. It's my El Lawrence pen. It was my favorite of my CSes until I got the Water pen.

Since I'm a water person and have a lot of blue pens (and more than 1/3 of my inks are blue), I don't forsee any other CS knocking the Water out of that position, but a teal Westminster would be very very close.

El Lawrence is one of my favourite inks and it sounds very stylish to have a Knightsbridge as an El Lawrence pen.

Nice grouping and that water pen really does catch the eye!

The knightsbridge and the Element pens look really great but i like the CS100 too, love the blue colour. I have a bespoke Duro in amber on order. Will post pics here when it arrives (may take a few weeks however).

Deirdre, are the Dinkie and Nightingale the same size? I knew the Nightingale was small, and I've even tried one, but I hadn't appreciated that it looks almost identical in size to the Dinkie.

I couldn't resist and I'm awaiting a 58 in heather.

In the meantime, here's my existing modern pens.

Ebonite and Azure Dandys.

I am afraid my modern CS pens are not very colourful!

But here they are regardless:

I have two others that I recently acquired (a set of ebonite Churchills, one with silver and the other with gold trim), but no photos yet.

Allow me to add to what ethernautrix said, you captured a Bespoke coloration offering (that I would have not given a second thought too) wonderfully. Beautiful, interesting pen!

Thank you Ethernautrix and Paul. It is a gorgeous pen and material. Perhaps it would be too "busy" for some people, but I like shimmering chunks often found in celluloid and casein, and hoped this resin would be similar. It's a HUGE decision when ordering a bespoke and you haven't actually seen the material in real life, but only in photos. This one ended up exceeding my expectations. :)

Rena's great pics and advice help me decide on a TF CS 100 as well == and I've been MOST pleased! It's a beautiful pen. I also have the Heather, and it's no slouch == the two trade off on being my favorite, depending on my mood!!

It is hard to decide on colors without seeing them in person, but Heather and Turquoise FLeck are gorgeous choices! Here's my Heather

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
