For sale is a practically new Aurora Optima Nero Perla fountain pen with 14k crisp, italic nib.  The aurolaide of this pen is gorgeous!  The 14k italic nib writes a moderately wet, crisp line with great line variation.

Hi!  Thank you for listing this pen.  I have looked at it a few times.  I continue wondering what actual width of line the pen puts down.  Of course, ink and paper choice makes considerable difference.  The photos suggest that line width is at least 0.8mm and perhaps 1.0 mm.  Would you be willing to talk with me about this?  If it is helpful, I can share Richard Binder's stroke width chart.

Hi Russell.  I haven't measured it, but it looks to be around 1.0mm to my eye.  It's very crisp with lovely line variation.
